Dr. Alice V. Ruffel, PsyD is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with the state of Texas, working in Fort Worth and Burleson, TX for over eight years. She is versed in a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and Integrative Psychology (which encourages exploration and understanding of the mind-body connection). She also does a variety of psychological assessments, specially designed for the individual need.
Prior to becoming a Psychologist, Dr. Ruffel was a personal and business coach for 10 years, supporting people in achieving their goals. She encourages using a variety of alternative approaches to healing (including EFT and REMAP), recognizing that traditional approaches, particularly medication, can have a valued place in the healing process. She is someone who can hear what is not heard by so many others. She provides the space of love, safety, acceptance, respect/honor/dignity and authenticity to all.
As Dr. Ruffel states, “If I have a specialty, it would be Autism spectrum, ADHD, and all those (of all ages) who feel ‘CAUGHT BETWEEN TWO WORLDS’ whether that is because of spirituality, mood/anxiety, psychosis, gender/sexual orientation or relationship issues.”
